Finals Season
The phase of time at late November/early December and late April/early May, before Finals in college and during Finals Week.
During this time, most classes assign major projects or prepare difficult tests, reducing the amount of availible time for non-school activities.
Posting tends to be rather slow during this phase of time, but since followed by several weeks of no class, it catches up afterwards.
