Bonus Chapter 4-The Great Tombe of Wedgamus Maximus

The solitude, the desolation was unendurable. He stood there, watching his seravnts as they did what he asked. As they pieced together the brick and metal, the glass and mechaniry, he couldn't help thinking he'd die from the lonliness. He couldn't stop thinking about it, and it made him want to scream, but instead he just stood there in Diatoro Forest, watchinig as a Kuwagamon and a Leomon put together his base. This, he thought, is where I'll spend my days, nights, nightmares and the loneliness. The sound of his friend's voice shook him awake from his depression. Undramon said "Hey Wedge, are you ok? Look, I know it's hard, but you have to sleep, you never do anymore. This Digimon don't care about you like i do, you have to get your rest". Perhaps he was right, maybe he should. Later. Now was the time for construction, they were almost done. He still couldn't believe that the Digimon, Kuwagamon, Leomon, Mekanorimon and even a Vermillimon would help him. All he had to really tell them was that he was fighting Realemon, and any digimon that he told would hop on his bandwagon and join in the fight. So far he had these guys, but more would come. Then he would have his army. Then he would have his revenge on Realemon for taking Pirelli away from him. He stared into the sky, as the sunset went down. This, he finally thought, is where I'll begin my revenge.

Wedge felt a hand touch his shoulder and felt an unparalleled warmth, like that of Pirelli's touch, but when he turned around, it was his trusted friend who had taken the liberty of telling him "Time for you to sleep, Wedge" and pushed him into a nearby tent, and closed the zipper, laughing slightly. Wedge sighed, and slid inside of the sleeping bag, eyes open and wild, exploring the darkness of his triangular encampment. He slowly realised his eyes were closing and finally turned on his back, closed his eyes completely and fell alseep.

That night he dreamed, he finally drempt about the horrible day all this had happened. Pirelli, gone, Realemon, won, and Jasmine, still alive, the only one who didn't help them! She didn't belong with any of them, she didn't even have a digimon to use! How dare she even call herself his friend, she didn't even help anyone, she just thought about how she MIGHT help, but most of all, he thought of how he felt when he did not see Pirelli when the dust had cleared, Undramon lying by him, almost like he never had life in him anymore, and the feeling of his love and his greatest friend both taken from him was enough to make him crack, and that's exactly what he did, as some people had told him.Wedge awoke several hours later, in a cold sweat, heavy breath, and Undramon standing by the door of the tent. "Undramon, come in here, please" He whispered, and placed his head back onto the pillow as Undramon entered, and asked "What's wrong Wedge, you're sweating..." and he knelt beside him, a half smile on his face. Wedge shook his head and said "Nevermind, just go help with the construction" and got up, and walked out with Undramon, and halted, seeing a problem. "What's up with him?" Wedge asked, walking towards where the entrance door was being built. He repeated to Lemon "Hey, I'm talking to you, what's the problem?" and stopped, seeing what EXACTLY the problem was. A lone Gazimon was blocking the doorway with his body, and Wedge could make out what he was saying in the loud bustle of digimon working. He heard "THIS CANNOT CONTINUE, THESE REAL WORLD THINGS SHOULD NOT BE IN THE DIGITAL WORLD, I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO BUILD THIS WITHOUT FIRST TAKING MY LIFE!" and to which he replied, to Leomon "Fine, then delete him" face serious and finger pointed at Gazimon, and he said "If you won't, you're next, isn't that right, Vermillimon?" He looked behind him, seeing the Ultimate digimon growling in response. "So, Lemon, delete him or you are both deleted" He ended, and turned away, smirking evily as he walked away to inspect the rest of the constructions.

Leomon closed his eyes and, hearing the whimpering voice of the Gazimon, ignored all noise as he threw a fist forward and yelled "FIST OF THE BEAST KING!" which pierced through the Gazimon's torso, and soon there was nothing but the doorway that stood in front of Leomon. He opened his eyes and looked over to Vermillimon who nodded and stomped away, following Wedge. Leomon shook his head and mumbled "May death become you, Wedgamus Maximus" and continued, stepping inside of the door and seeing what else he needed to do.

Wedge stood on the left wing's completed rooftop, overviewing the rest of the right wing, as he felt something form in his hand. He recogonized it's warmth, but did not recognize it itself. It was a symbol he did not recognize, but his necklace began to glow as the stone symbol floated to his neck and slided inside, and a voice inside of his head said "Wedgamus Maximus, you have been cursed with the Crest of Death." but he shook his head, not paying attention, holding the tag and crest in front of his eyes. "Undramon, come here..." He said, eyes glazed over and almost psychotic looking, and the shape of a dragon flashed in his eyes as he felt Undramon appear beside him, "With this, my order will be heard throughout the land. Undramon, let this day come to pass as the day I come to hold enough power to RULE THE DIGITAL WORLD!" He yelled, throwing his arms into the air, laughing hysterically.
