A Lost Factor-Jasmine's Story

Chapter One-Awakening to a New Day

Jasmine woke up, in her closet of her room. She had been hiding once again, when she fell asleep in there. Her family thought she was so weird in being obsessed with all the digital stuff, and dimensions. Especially dimensions. Her current life revolved around that, and finding a way back to her friends. So she was hiding in the closet, trying to make new D-Porters.

Since she was already in the closet, Jasmine decided to get dressed. She put on her blue dress, similar to what she wore when with her friends. She went out of the closet, and went to the bathroom, to brush her hair and teeth.

"Hey!" a boy's voice called from outside the bathroom. Jasmine peeked out to see her brother, Donald, or also called Nick, because as a little kid, he couln't say his name right and called himself Donick.

"What?" Jasmine asked, looking at his hair, which, instead of being his normal tan color like her own hair, was now dyed silver and spiked up.

Nick smiled. "Ya like?" he asked, waving around Jasmine's D-Terminal. "Oh, and no emails from the friends on that list of people from acamina, whereever that is, and there is one, from the DigiReal Station. You need to head in, asap now instantly."

Jasmine looked at Nick. "I've told you hundreds of times where Acamina is. I even showed you a map of the city, showing yo where I lived, and where my college was. If you can beleive in the digimon and everything that happened here during the digimon and d-reaper thingy, why can't you beleive that I was in another dimension at that time?" she asked, grabbing her D-Terminal.

"Yeah yeah, just like Ryo. You're nuts." Nick said, walking away. "By the way, the email said be there asap, before 9, and it's 11. And I remember your closet light being on until 5, so go..."

Jasmine glared at her brother as he went into his room, then checked the email. She was late. She ran downstairs to the kitchen, to grab a bagel. Her mom was there, making a sandwich.

"Nick has some friends coming over, so I'm making lunch. Aren't you late for work?"

"Yeah," Jasmine said, putting the bagel in the toaster. "And the email that Nick read said there was an emergency, something 'up my alley'. But why'd he have to read my mail? Brothers are dumb, especially when 13. Kenny was better than him."

Her mom glared at her. "Kenny is not your brother. Kenny is Jenni's brother, so don't refer to him as your own. I personally don't care for the parallel part of the dimension theory."

Jasmine sighed. "But based on my reseach, it's mostly true, or mostly parallel. The two dimensions are extremely close, and similar, compared to the other dimensions I've gone to with Jenni and the others." She paused for a moment. "I so hope they email me soon. I haven't heard from them since the day I got back here." She looked at the clock, noticing what time it was. "Eek, gotta go!" she grabbed the bagel and ran out the door.

A few minutes later, Jasmine ran into the DigiReal Station, a place set up for peaceful communication and relations to the Digital World. A few of the Tamers were there, but Jasmine ignored them, late and needing to see Dr. Wasiku anyway. Although his name reminded her of Gateau Wazumi.

Just as she reached his office, the door opened, and Dr. Wasiku handed her a paper. It was a copy of a email, which was addressed to her.

"We're not sure why we got this, instead of you, but it must be in relation to what you said was happening before you got sent back here." he said, as Jasmine read the paper. She dropped it, and walked over to the window and looked outside. It looked like a normal day here, in this dimension.

On the floor, where the note landed, it said...

-Hello Jasmine. Remember me? Well, no doubt you remember me,
-since I am part of a life you'd never forget, knowing the Lost
-Digidestined's friend, the Dimensional Girl. Well, most of that last
-line is true. The Lost Digidestined are truely lost now, and you
-are the dimensional girl, but, things have changed. In ways that
-you would hope and dream for, but never truely want to come
-true.
-
-Well, to update you on what happened after you left, or was
-sent away, however you want to imagine it, well, the Lost
-Digidestined lost. Obvisously, Realemon won. And now, with her
-help and under her command, we did what you might think is
-unbelievable and impossible. We found a way to combine two
-worlds that are very similar and parallel to themselves, and now,
-well, here we are. You don't need the D-Porters now. Nor do
-you need any of us to visit the digimon. Before we fused the
-dimensions together, first we had to fuse the Real and Digital
-Worlds together. So, enjoy. And welcome to a new day, a new
-age, where Realemon is in control.

-Gateau Wazumi
