A Lost Factor-Jasmine's Story

Chapter 3-A long, wet road ahead.

Jasmine got home about ten minutes later. She had gone slowly, trying to figure out the best way to explain it, and still couldn't had no clue. She walked in the side door, and saw her mom watching tv in the living room. She snuck past the door, and walked to her room. Inside, she locked the door.

She walked over to her bed, and laid down, trying to collect her thoughts. She had to go to Acamina, in California. California. From here to California. She had no way to do it. Before, she had used the D-Porters, and would wind up there. Now she had to travel there like a normal person. But, in all honesty, she was a normal person. She was not digidestined, or a Tamer. She was a girl, no, techinically, a woman, since she was 19. She liked dimensions, liked studying anything she could find on them. But now, this was a mess, and her friends were in danger, and now, she just had to figure out a way to fix it.

She got off the bed, and went to her dresser. She got out her other blue dress, and some other clothes. Some, like her blue capris and white blouse, had been seen by her friends. Another outfit, her marron pants and shiny blue and purple overshirt, were new just this year. She got her brush and found a blue hat that she had borrowed from Jenni. And a white one that was also new and matched her white blouse. She grabbed a bit of her hair, and was looking at it, when Nick had picked the lock and came in the room.

"Hey, what's all this? You going to Acamina again?" Nick said, sarcasticly. Jasmine looked at him, wondering if she should tell him the truth. Would Jenni tell Kenny, if she had to go away for a long time? Probably not, since Kenny would go along also. But, Nick wasn't Kenny, and Jasmine knew that.

"You read the email from Dr. Wasiku. I have to go back. Watch the news, there's bound to be stuff on the digimon being here. It's really bad, and I have to go. It sounds dumb saying this, but I may be the only one of my friends left. Since she sent me back here."

"She who?" Nick asked, blocking the door. "Sent you from Acamina to here, and with you claiming that it's another dimension, how can that be? If you can't get there on your own, how can someone else?"

"Well," Jasmine said, looking for her backpack. SHe didn't have time for this, but she may as well multitask. "Pirelli took the D-Porters. They're devices that activate portals to other dimensions. She sent me here. But we don't know who created the D-Porters in the first place."

"So, find Pirelli, find D-Porters, go to Acamina. Right?" Nick said, leaning on the door. She could tell he still didn't believe her.

"No, because the plain truth is that the D-Porters are useless now, since Dr. Wasiku got an email from Wazumi that the Real and Digital worlds are now fused together, and also, our world, and Jenni's world. So now, I don't need D-Porters, I need a airplane."

"And how can you get that? This is dumb." Nick said, walking to Jasmine's computer, hooked up to a laptop, and to her D-Terminal. A small purple light on the D-Terminal was blinking. "Hey, is this normal? Purple isn't a computer color, is it?"

Jasmine zipped up her backpack and walked over to see. "Huh?" she said, turning on the D-Terminal. It said she had mail from L-6@Dterm.digi.com^^DP3@Jamsaire.dim.com, dated the day after the final battle.

"What's so weird about it?"Nick asked, looking over her shoulder.

"Well, the first part of the email address is Pirelli, DPS is her D-Porter, but I don't get the last part, and why I'm getting it so late."

"So open it, read it, and go find a taxi cab to California," Nick said, backing away. "I'll wait to see you on the news"

Jasmine glared at him, knowing he was probably right about everything except the taxi. She opened the Email, to find a typical Pirelli message.

L-6 to ALL.

Hi, and we're alive!...Okay, I'm alive, for now. Brian seems to have half a mind to kill me, but we all know how he gets. Oh well. But, the D-Porters are all spazzed out, all three of them(since Hidimon took one too, silly thingy.) So, we're trying to find out way back, but it's hard, since they're broken or something(wasn't Jasmine working on fixing them or something...I think she made them worse)...So, Well, here we are, lost, so I thought I'd at least let you know that if the dimension doesn't kill me, Brian will. Bye!

Pirelli Ticony, future ghost.

Jasmine read it for a moment, a little glad. Pirelli and Brian had escaped. Somehow, with the D-Porters. It was wonderful news. Maybe they had found their way back already. They aren't dumb enough to get caught. Unless Brian did kill Pirelli along the way. But that is probably just Pirelli being silly about Brian's ranting. Pirelli was 12, although now she'd be 13, and Brian had been 16. They could survive, if they had Canamon and Wiz...Jasmine's happy moment froze and broke. Brian didn't have Wazumi. Realemon did. Did that mean she had them too, or did Brian not have Wazumi?

Jasmine disconnected the D-Terminal from the computer, and debated bringing her laptop also. Deciding against it, she put the D-Terminal in her pocket, and ran downstairs. She was her mom, still watching TV, now with Nick. "Bye guys, see ya soon."

She contiued for the door, but her mom called for her to wait. Jasmine stopped, and looked back. "Jasmine, I know what's going on," her mom said.

"Well, I'm still going." Jasmine said, knowing better than to say that Kenny won't have told. Nick sat on the sofa, snickering.

"I didn't plan on stopping you, just on giving you advice," her mom said, walking over to her. "I'm trying to find some channels that cover Acamina's news, but so far, no good. You better come out of this in one piece. Even if you can't save the world."

"Mom..." Jasmine started to say, but couldn't. She didn't know what to say. Her mom understood her dimensional stories, and friends, and really did accept it. Now she was letting her go prove it for everyone, and help the friends that most people didn't think she had. Jasmine smiled. "Okay, unless Realemon does something."

"Hopefully not," her mom replied. "Dr. Wasiku called when you were upstairs. He said to go to the DigiReal Station first."

"Okay, bye, and I'll try to email you," Jasmine said, leaving.

She got back to the DigiReal Station quickly. Dr. Wasiku was waiting outside. "I had a type of going way present for you. Since it's impratical to think that you can do this any other way," he said, handing her an envelope.

Jasmine opened it, to see a ticket to the Fairinea, a ship that went from Japan to California. Looking at the dates, she was that it seemed limitless. "Um, sir, I can understand why I get a ticket, but why one like this?"

"Well," he said, looking at her. "If something happens here, we may need you. Or, we may need someone here to go there. No one knows what the future holds, but maybe, with your help, we can do it. We just can't do it if no one can help you as you help us."

"Okay," Jasmine said. "Then I'm going."

"Let me drive you to the docks, so you can go. That wouldn't be right either," Dr. Wasiku said. He waited at the docks until the Fairinae, with Jasmine on it, left to California, where the main problems were just begining.
